My device has third party hardware. Is that normal?

Rest assured that our suppliers are equipped with certified technicians that only use high quality parts to repair the device and that all devices are fully tested before shipping.

In some occasions, this may also prompt some messages on the latest Apple devices stating "Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine...". This message will be visible on the lock screen for 4 days and then for 15 more days in Settings. The only inconvenience would be in case this is related to your battery and in that case you won't be able to easily see your battery's health and know when it's time to replace it.

Only Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace a component in the latest iPhones without prompting this message. This doesn't mean that your battery is defective, it only means it was replaced with a new battery (or camera or screen) that works just as efficiently as the original one.
