My Device Isn’t Turning On — How to Fix It
If your device won’t power on, try these tips from the Revibe tech team for a quick and safe fix.
1. Check Your Charger and Cable
Make sure your charging accessories are working properly:
Plug your phone into a power source.
Connect your smartphone to a USB cable.
Use one of the following:
Wall power socket: Plug the cable into a power adapter, then into the wall.
Computer USB port: Plug into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port on a turned-on computer or laptop.
If your device charges slowly or not at all:
Ensure your cable, adapter, and plug are not damaged — never use broken accessories.
Confirm everything is firmly plugged in and the outlet is working.
Try different outlets — the issue could be a faulty socket.
Check for debris in the charging port (see cleaning instructions below).
Allow your device to charge for at least 30 minutes.

2. Clean Your Charging Port
A blocked port can prevent charging.
How to clean safely:
Use a toothpick to gently remove debris from the port.
Wipe the toothpick with a cloth or paper towel.
Repeat until the port is clean.
⚠️ Do not use sharp metal objects — this may damage your device.
3. Force Restart Your Device
iOS Devices
iPhone 8, SE, X, or later (Face ID models):
Press and quickly release Volume Up, then Volume Down.
Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears.
iPhone 7 / 7 Plus:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons until the Apple logo appears.
