Maximize Your Battery Life – Revibe Tips
If your device’s battery drains faster than expected, follow these Revibe tech tips to check its health, optimize settings, and make your charge last longer.
1. Check Your Maximum Battery Capacity
iOS Devices
Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
Check the percentage next to Maximum Battery Capacity.
80% or above: Your battery is healthy.
Apple designs batteries to retain up to 80% of their capacity after 500 complete charge cycles under normal conditions. At Revibe, our Quality Charter follows these recommendations.
⚠️ Note: If your battery was replaced outside of Apple, you may see “Unknown Part” or a Warning Message. This is normal and does not affect performance.
Android Devices
Android doesn’t have a built-in battery health feature. Use a third-party app like AccuBattery to monitor health:
Open AccuBattery and go to the Health tab.
Check the Battery Health % — a normal battery retains up to 80% of capacity after 500 full charge cycles.
The app also shows Battery Wear, estimated and design capacity, and tracks usage over time.
It takes 4–5 days for AccuBattery to gather accurate data based on your usage.
💡 Tip: Charge your battery to 80% to slow down normal wear and tear.
2. Update Your Software
Keeping your device updated improves battery performance and fixes bugs.
iOS Devices
Back up your device via iCloud or your computer.
Plug into a power source and connect to Wi-Fi.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Install any available updates.
Android Devices
Go to Settings > System > System Update.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Tips to Make Your Charge Last Longer
Keep It Cool
Avoid overheating, especially when fully charged.
Batteries drain faster in hot conditions, even when idle.
Do not expose your device to temperatures above 35°C (95°F).
Store devices between -20°C (-4°F) and 45°C (113°F) when not in use.
Optimize Settings to Save Battery
Turn off sounds and vibrations (keyboard, notifications).
Keep frequently used apps open to avoid constant reloading.
Reduce usage of Bluetooth-heavy apps.
Delete unused apps.
Place your device face down to stop the screen from lighting up for notifications.
Avoid high-graphics games.
Charge Smartly
Keep battery between 20%–80% for optimal health.
Small, frequent charges (20% at a time) are better than charging to 100% all at once.
Avoid letting your battery drop to 0%.
Don’t leave your device without a charge for extended periods.
Always update your apps and software to maintain battery efficiency.
